Charstar: *Envy is sitting on the bed, flipping through a book the exam place had given him when she walks in the door. He smiles at her as she walks in, and puts the book down, and stands* Hey, Winry.
Asha: *she smiled a bit half hearted* hey...*walking over to the chair next to the window....sitting down..stairing out the window at the rain falling*
Charstar: Are you ok? *Envy walks over to her, and places a hand on her shoulder* Did you and Edward fight>
Asha: huh..*looking up at him* oh..hardly..it just bothers me that hes out there..and hes going to be sick if he just sits out there..*being able to see him throw the window..sitting in the rain...on that same bench..the umbrella next to him...winrys hair and clothes were damp*
Charstar: He has a place to stay. *Envy walks away from her, and into another chair.* The military takes care of their dogs.
Asha: *she opened her mouth about to defend him..but wasnt sure how that might look..so she shut it..shrugging*...yea...but still..he shouldnt sit in the rain like that..
Charstar: It's his own choice. *Envy replies to her, almost uncaring about his brother. For years, Envy had done nothing but attempt to force him into making the stone. But, ever since Envy became a human, he started to realize that life is precious, and that Ed shouldn't be just...played around. That doesn't mean he still couldn't be disliked.* If he was as smart as people say he is supposed to be, he'd move out of the rain.
Asha: *she chuckled* hes smart..but his main problem is..hes stubburn.and if he thinks it proves some sort of point..he doesnt back down..no matter what...
Charstar: So, he thinks he will prove his work by sitting in the rain? Doesn't seem so smart to me. *Envy again speaks, uncaring of the boy*
Asha: *she glanced over at him..arching an eyebrow*...Well..he is smart...its just hes...not always going about showing it the right way...
Charstar: *Envy shrugs, flipping through the book again* If that's intellegence...someone lied to me.
Asha: *she stood...now frustrated* listen..edward is smart...and hes done alot as both a state alchemist and a person..and if you cant accept that then...*steping into the bathroom..slamming the door*
Charstar: *Envy looks up at the girl, and watches her storm off...a moment later he sets his book down, and knocks on the door, and not waiting for a reply, he starts to speak.* That's not what I mean, Winry, and you know it. I...just don't think you should pity him for sitting in the rain of his own choice, that's all...*Envy sighs* I know you care for him. It's obvious in your look, your eyes...everything...do you...regret what happened with him? *Envy closes his eyes* Don't...answer that...*he walks away, and sits back down, this time thinking hard about the girl he is staying with.*
Asha: *she sighed..sitting on the sink*...its not that i regret anything..i just think..that you should respect him more..and stop hating him!
Charstar: *Envy looks down at the floor* You are asking me to do something I can't do.
Charstar: It's not...possible for me.
Asha: and why is that?!..*raising her voice through the door*...although edward and i arnt together....we're still going to be friends..and does that bother you?...would you trust if i had to take off somewhere to fix his automail..and couldnt make it back that night..would you trust me?..or him for that matter?
Charstar: Yes! I trust you! I trust him! I just don't like him, alright? I am envious of all he has, and has had! My father left me...and he has gotten all of the credit that I should have had, being the first-born! And, it matters to me, alright? Is that what you wanted to hear? I don't like Edward because he doesn't like me, and has taken all that should be mine. What do I have, Winry? You? That's all I have, and admittedly, that is amazing itself. You are wonderful. But, besides that, I have nothing, Winry...
Charstar: *Envy calms back down some..* I want more...for you...for me...I don't want to just be...some worthless man all of my remaining life...
Asha: *she opened the door..walking into the room...*...Your not worthless..but..*sighing*...you need to get over it..plain and simple..what happened happened...his fa..your father had reasons for what he did...why cant you just leave the past in the past?
Charstar: Because...it isn't the past. It has effected everything that Ed and I are to each other, Winry. He hates me just as much as I dislike him. *Envy walks farther away, looking at some book that he had tossed to the floor earlier* It's not something I can just do like that *Envy snaps, then picks the book up.* I'm sorry. It's just not in me.
Asha: *she nodded*...then its time you both sat down...and figured this out..untill then..i..i cant be around either of you...because whats happening..effects me..my boyfriend..and my best friend hate each other...and whats worse..i left one for the other...i cant just sit around..and see you hating each other...and keep wondering..did i make it worse instead of better?
Charstar: *Envy turns to her* If anything, you make it better...at least for me. I have no choice but to start liking Ed, you know? I know he is very important to you. But, if that is your feelings on the matter...then I will go...*Envy walks to the door.* I'm sorry, Winry..
Asha: *she shook her head* no...your not going anywhere..you came here for a reason...
Charstar: I wasn't leaving Central.
Charstar: *Envy opens the door* You said you can't bear to be around us if we are fighting..I am going to...go think.
Asha: *she nodded* sometimes..thinking is better..then actions..
Charstar: I'll...see you...when...*Envy doesn't say anything else, and just stands there for a moment...*
Asha: *she turns twords him..*..when?...

Charstar: *Envy takes a few steps out the door, then turns back...* I'm sorry...I just...*Envy turns again*
Asha: *she lowers her head...and nods*....
Charstar: *Envy walks away, dragging his feet. Once outside, Envy sees Edward, sitting in the rain...and walks over to him...handing him Winry's umbrella, and helping him stand*

CharstarAlmighty: Yes, but, that's not it. You see, you are her best friend, and I am now her boyfriend. She doesn't want us to fight. We have to solve this...problem we have, you know? In the past, yeah, we tried to kill each other...but, things were very different then, you know?

Envy smiled at the girl. He had been glad that she came to Central. And, here he was ready to go. The test would be no problem for the former homunculus. But, Winry was concerned. He still remembered everything from the gate, so the written test should be no problem. And, the exam where he was to show skill should be no sweat either. All he had to do was perform a very powerful transmuatation.
But, what name would he give the military? He'd have to prove who he was, and give them a new name. He couldn't just say "Hi, I am Envy, the former mass murderer. Please let me be a State Alchemist."
Envy thought about it as he grabbed Winry's hand and led her out of their room. Walking out into the street, he saw the streetside marketplace, and guided her there. While he looked at the trinkets and gizmos he thought of names for himself. But, his mind never could come across the name that Hohenheim and Dante had bestowed upon him upon his original birth.
He looked around, and then smiled at Winry. No sense in letting her get upset, or worry about his thoughts.

"Look, an Auto-mail shop!" Envy pointed out the store to his girlfriend. Instantly he was drug by his hand into the store. | | |

"He's going to Central in the morning and is going to become a State Alchemst!" - Winry Rockbell, her reply to Ed's comment.

Winry and Ed are fighting...over me. I...feel so bad for her. He's said some very mean things to her, even saying he can believe she'd mess around with him for a "low-life". Like he has no respect for the person she is. Winry is a very beautiful, talented Auto-mail mechenic...she works hard, and does well.

"He will fail," -Edward, while laughing at Winry
"He is good at what he does, Ed, and he is a good kisser," - Winry, obviously upset at her foolish now ex-boyfriend.

I am good at Alchemy, but only because I inherited the power when I became a human. It's like part of the power that is in the Philosopher's Stone is a part of me, but it also has a lot to do with fact that I come from the other side of the gate. Just like Wrath.
It's not fair the way he is treating her. Yes, maybe she wasn't honest with him before, or faithful, but he has been gone for so long, and he rarely even calls her. And, when he did call before, he always thought the worst of her, thinking that she would most definetly do wrong in his eyes. He's such a bastard.

"YOU KNOW WHAT?" - Edward, now fully yelling at Winry.
"Ed, that's all I wanted to tell you...gah, just grow up already!" Winry, replying to Ed's screams.

If I didn't think I would just hurt her more, Ed would be a pulp right now. He doesn't need to be treating her like this. All she did was be honest with him, and he is acting like she is some worthless piece of garbage. I'll show him what she is worth, someday, and what I am worth, and he will realize that he is losing out on the best thing that ever happened to him, just because he didn't ever think to call or write.

"You can stay here and live with him forever. Be one big happy family. I am leaving." Ed slammed the door after he said that, and stomped off down the stairs.
"It wasn't supposed to be like this," Winry says to herself, crying in her room.

I...I need to be there with her, and reassure her that I am still here for her. She needs me. Yet, I am afraid if I go in there she will only get upset with me...
But, I have to let her know that I still care, and that everything will be ok, don't I? I mean, that is what I should do.
I am so confused. I just want to make her happy...

*Envy walks over to the door, and opens it, moving into her room. He walks to her bed, and pulls her up gently, wrapping her in an embrace, saying words to comfort her...*

I think it is the lack of a soul I have...but, Winry makes me want to be human again. BeThou4thepeople: well i know one thing It doesn't matter to me. * lay his head down* i mean that the way of the world and with it. we became what we live. I don't know if i'll change or die. but you see i don't know that i maybe immortal alchemist but there are thing i want to see and feel even if i may not change and is change all that bad ..

BeThou4thepeople: *lifts his head up and looks at envy* and that isn't fair. I don't want that for you. even at the life of the humans as you put it. or mine. *lays his head back down* it has began the transmutation.
CharstarAlmighty: This isn't right, is it? My asking you to use your gift for my benefit. It's not right for all of those lives to be wasted by transmuting me a new soul...what if that doesn't make me a human?
